I asked her to take her feet off her brother, telling her what she was doing was not kind, that she would not like someone else to put their feet on her. I turned around to finish what I was doing. KBH then shrieked and started to cry: NJH had nipped her toe!Kristina H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12436239509826018456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079043726854093346.post-47208602857614890012009-09-03T09:18:45.611-04:002009-09-03T09:18:45.611-04:00Grace Whisperer - Great point! NCH, being 7 1/2, seems at a much more sensible age to grasp the idea. I don't think it would be appropriate for children under age 3. The book does mention other types of discipline that may be necessary from time to time, depending on the age of the child, the issue at hand, etcKristina H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12436239509826018456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079043726854093346.post-64917162661730789392009-09-02T23:05:39.467-04:002009-09-02T23:05:39.467-04:00sounds like a good book. thanks for sharing the ma...sounds like a good book. thanks for sharing the main points.Nickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16505890629892997993noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8079043726854093346.post-51045564868076242522009-09-02T22:13:42.502-04:002009-09-02T22:13:42.502-04:00I like the concept, but I wonder about the reality...I like the concept, but I wonder about the reality of reality discipline. What do you do if "reality" doesn't deliver the discipline? Some consequences don't appear until the damage is severe... Like a child touching a hot stove or riding his scooter into the street. Is this addressed in the book?Grace Whispererhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03984405494956557623noreply@blogger.com
